Privacy policy

DratonHub is an Android app that shows you how much time you spend in your own games and helps you hold yourself to limits you set. This policy explains what it does with information. The short version: it collects nothing, and nothing leaves your phone.
What DratonHub collects
No personal data is collected, and none is transmitted anywhere. DratonHub has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting service. There is no server behind it.
What it stores on your phone
To do its job, DratonHub records the following in a private database on the device, readable only by the app itself:
- Which apps you have chosen to treat as games, and any limits you set for them.
- When a tracked game was in the foreground, and for how long.
- Battery level and device thermal state sampled during a play session, so it can report what a session cost.
- Your settings: daily limits, bedtime hours, when your day starts, and notification preferences.
This information stays on the device. It is not uploaded, backed up to a service run by the developer, sold, or shared with anyone.
Permissions, and why each one is asked for
- Usage access — so the app can tell which app is in the foreground and measure how long a game was open. This is a permission you grant by hand in Android Settings, and the app works without it, with less to show for it.
- Display over other apps — so the limit screen can appear on top of a game when you reach a limit you set. Nothing is ever closed or force-stopped for you.
- Notifications — for the ongoing notice while measuring, limit warnings, and the weekly summary.
- Foreground service — Android requires this for an app that keeps measuring while you are inside another app.
- Package visibility — DratonHub asks the system for the apps that have a launcher icon, so it can show your games and let you mark any app as one.
DratonHub does not read the contents of your screen, your messages, your files, or anything inside another app. It reads only which app is in front and for how long, through Android's own usage statistics.
Subscriptions
If DratonHub offers a paid subscription and you buy one, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. DratonHub never sees or stores your payment details. The app records only whether a subscription is currently active, on the device.
Children
DratonHub is not directed at children and is not designed for use by them. It is a tool for the owner of the device to measure and limit their own use. It has no parental controls, no remote monitoring, and no way for one person to watch another person's activity.
Deleting your information
Uninstalling DratonHub removes everything it has recorded. There is no copy anywhere else, and nothing to request the deletion of, because nothing was ever sent anywhere.
